Briargate Driveway: 1.5-Inch Lift, Done Before Lunch

March 18, 20264 min read
Before and after comparison of an uneven driveway restored to a more level position

A settling front driveway in Briargate was one estimate away from a full tear-out. Here's how we lifted it in a single morning — for a fraction of the replacement quote.

The homeowners had two quotes for a full driveway replacement — both over $12,000 — before they called us. The slab had settled 1½ inches at the garage apron and was pooling water toward the foundation.

We drilled six dime-sized ports, injected polyurethane foam beneath the settled sections, and lifted the slab back to grade in about three hours. The ports were sealed with a color-matched patch, control joints were resealed, and the driveway was drive-on before the crew left.

Total invested: about $2,400. The concrete they already had, back to level, backed by a written warranty.
